Like her modern buildings, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid’s legacy continues to soar. Nearly three years after her death, one of her last towering projects comes into shape (curved of course) in Miami.

“Our model home, ‘Tropical Future Lovers’, reflects the cosmopolitan, diverse and creative dynamic that we feel in the city interpreted through our luxury design lens and our latest furniture design and technology innovation—like the ‘touch me’ light and wireless phone charging stations to [give people a taste of future possibilities],” says Fernan I. Hernandez, Morada Haute Furniture Boutique’s chief creative officer.

Morada infuses Hadid’s future promise (where architecture contributes to society’s progress and collective well being) into the residence—via interior design, functional technology and curves.

“[Zaha Hadid’s] love for curves is our love for curves—both in the design and set up as well as in the exclusively designed pieces like the Silhouette Spatial with integrated ambiance lighting,” adds Hernandez.

One Thousand Museum offers an international elixir of premium craftsmanship, including model residences influenced by Italy, France and Brazil. Lush landscaping is by Switzerland’s Enzo Enea; interior illumination products by Apure (customized by German designer Uli Petzold); kitchens by Italian firm Italkfraft or custom manufactured by Italy’s Gatto Cucine; closets by Italy’s Poliform; and Lualdi doors also from Italy.

“My inspiration for the design of the four-bedroom unit was to create balance, harmony and function throughout,” says Yerickson Nagy, interior designer at French design house Roche Bobois which injects its own je ne sais quoi to the project. “Roche Bobois has the diversity for Miami’s market regarding its luxurious designs, quality materials and price range. The blue and green palette was drawn from the surrounding landscape, and of course, there is an influence in how the exterior views are framed by the shapes of Zaha’s façade.”

One Thousand Museum is Hadid’s sole U.S. residential project, modernizing Miami’s skyline with a sculptural exoskeleton façade—cabochon-topped by a rooftop helipad, pool, decks, duplex townhouses and spectacular full-floor penthouses high above the Biscayne Bay and Atlantic Ocean.

One Thousand Museum is shaping up to be a big deal. It had no choice—its chief architect is a big deal, still.
